It is unfortunately becoming the "norm" where it appears that we are living in a society where marriage is being taken more for granted than it used to.

So, maybe we can share a few ideas as to what goes towards making a long and happy marriage.

My wife and I have now been married for over 20 years, and whilst watching TV a year or so ago stumbled upon what we believe is one of the secrets to a long, happy and successful union, and a belief that we will never forget and I hope you may think and feel the same?

Mr Lionel Blair was asked this very question whilst he was a guest on the TV programme "Ready Steady Cook" as he admitted to a marriage that has lasted the test of time.
His thought was simply "shared memories".
He has travelled the world for most of his life performing and dancing and he has tried to ensure that his wife was with him as much as possible to share the experiences so that instead of arriving home and saying "Oh I had a fantastic time" they can say together "Didn't WE have a fantastic time".
When they finally reflect on their life together won't it be lovely to think back on their shared memories together?

I hope you agree.......?
